Tommy Dorathy - age: 61
(December 28, 1947 to November 13, 2009 ) Resident of Murfreesboro, Arkansas Visitation Information: Visitation will be held at Latimer Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2009 between 6:00 – 8:00. Obituary: Tommy D. Dorathy, age 61, of Murfreesboro, went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2009. He was born on December 28, 1947 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Kent and Vivian Hile Dorathy. Tommy was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and Henderson State University. He owned and operated TDI Insurance in Murfreesboro for 28 years. Tommy was a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and member of the President’s Council and Commercial Roundtable with Farmer’s Insurance Group. He was an active member at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro where he led in Bible study and was an active participant in the men’s brotherhood. He is survived by his wife, Connie Dorathy of Murfreesboro; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Dallas and Deborah Sears of Murfreesboro; four step-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Steve Nelson of Little Rock. Tommy was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Dorathy of Little Rock. Funeral Services will be at the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Burial will follow at Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home. |
