James McJunkins - November 24, 2009
My dad had a great love and respect for Dan. He talked about him as a hunting buddy, as a farmer and as a brother in Christ. What a great example he was and is to all who knew him. He knew, loved, taught and lived the Word. He always made an effort to speak to me everytime I came home. We all have those in life that we look to as an example. Dan has and will be one of those in my life!

It is saddening to see the death notice of Dan. I consider it one more death in the passing of a good generation.
And the winds say"long ago, long ago"
