Obituary:
George Henry Lawrence, age 70, of Nashville, Arkansas, died Sunday January 24, 2010, in Nashville. He was born August 24, 1939, in Nashville, Arkansas, the son of the late J.T. and Lucy Jeans Lawrence.
George loved driving “the Big Black Peterbilt Truck” around every state, across highways and country roads, as well as stopping to chat too. George made many great friends driving trucks and at truck stops or by saying “Hi 10-4” on his radio. His truck driving buddies named him “Chicken George”.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer and brother, Jimmy.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn Lawrence and wife, Tammy, and Brett Lawrence all of Nashville; two brothers, Edwin Lawrence of Grapevine, TX and Ruben Lawrence of Nashville, AR; three sisters, Ida Kesterson of Dierks, AR, Louise Emerson of Hatfield, AR and Ruth Taylor of Lockesburg; AR; three grandchildren, Tyler Lawrence, Amber Lawrence and Megan Lawrence and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Latimer Funeral Home with burial in Antoine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Latimer Funeral Home.
We cherished our Brother, Father, PawPaw, and send him home to Heaven with
many prayers and to meet his Savior with angels to guide his way. Amen

Sorry to hear about george henry i know everyone that knew him will miss him very much he was a fine man i always enjoyed talking with him there never was a dull moment when george henry was involved he sure always made me laugh.god will bless the family
