Gary and Terri, I am a descendant of Rudson Appleton (Lorena Appleton Harrison) and would like to communicate with your family and relatives. I have been researching the Appleton Family History and would be happy to share my information with your family. My grandmother was a half-sister of Rudson. My condolences in the passing of your Mother. June Alexander

Gary, I am Aunt Sarah Lay's niece, Pam Bissell Marlar. I grew up hearing all about Uncle Garland's family. Uncle Garland, Aunt Sarah, Mike, Peggy, and Janet would come to Nashville and it would be a "grand" time. I remember Mrs. Essie Lay's pretty home. I was in it at times. I knew Aunt Verbie. She and Aunt Sarah shared November 15 as their birthdays. Peggy and your Mother shared December 26 I just noticed. I have a lot of wonderful family memories. They always talked about the Lay bunch and I felt they were my family too. I remember Aunt Lottie. Please know I care. Hold on to the memories you have. The laughter and love the Lay family shared was so special!!! Pam Bissell Marlar

Dear Gary and Terri, So sorry to hear about Aunt Wanda's death! We loved her! She will be missed, but she is resting and in a much better place! I know she and Uncle Perry and Daddy and the rest of the crew are playing Canasta and telling old stories without so much as a breath in between! We will be out of town Friday---Sunday. Going to Fayettevile to see Cassie, Ben and Whitley! Love to you all! Peggy, Shane and family
