(July 16, 1911 to February 05, 2010 ) Resident of Dierks, Arkansas Visitation Information: Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. Obituary: Pearl Darling, 98, of Dierks, died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Nashville Nursing Center in Nashville. She was born on July 16, 1911, the daughter of the late Ben and Jenny (Shelton) Chandler. Mrs. Darling was a housewife and member of the Dierks Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Darling was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Darling; one daughter, Virginia Hearn; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include: Marthell and Rick Volentine of Hope; Brian, MaChelle and Ryan Reid of Dierks; one brother, Jim Chandler of Benton, AR; one grandson, Ed Hearn of Raleigh, N.C.; one granddaughter, Darlene Brannen of Atlanta, GA; three great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. Services will be Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel with James McRae officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park in Nashville under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. Michelle and family, Ms. Pearl was so very special to so many of us..but her lifelong friendship with my Grandma continued after Grandma passed away through me as well. All of us have so many memories, and the faith we have in God to keep Ms. Pearl and my Grandma in our hearts forever. God will see us through. Love you Michelle...Brenda
