Obituary:
Roger Arnold, 65, of Nashville, AR. died April 6, 2010 at his home. He was born July 16, 1944 in Dierks, AR, the son of Jeff Arnold and Beatrice (Kitchens) Arnold.
He was saved and joined Antioch Baptist Church, Nashville, AR on Easter Sunday morning, April 18, 1977. Roger was ordained in the ministry July 9, 1978.
At the present time Bro. Roger was a Pastor for Bodcaw Baptist Church #1 in Bodcaw.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Leah (Hunt) Arnold of Nashville; one son, James E. Arnold and wife, Michelle of Nashville; one daughter, Teresa Arnold of Nashville; his mother, Beatrice Arnold of Dierks; one brother, Johnny Arnold and wife, Roxie of Dierks; two sisters, Jeffie Parker Roth and husband, Sam of Dierks, and Wilma Cogburn Hale and husband, Lindell of Dierks; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends mourn his passing.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Bro. Jim Sayers and Bro. Tom Hunt officiating. Burial to follow in Hickory Grove in Dierks under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
