Cindy, Doug and I were saddened to learn of the loss of your wonderful Dad. Many memories abound in my mind about both of your parents and all of the great times I had in your home when we were growing up. Doug has fond memories of working with your Dad for so many years at the Post Office. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time, and if you will close your eyes, you can feel me giving you a big hug now. Love, Reba & Doug Cox

Cindy,
I just found out about your Dad's death. I didn't know him as well as I knew your mother, but I have some very fine memories of him as well. I remember that even in my youth, your Dad always treated me with respect and showed a keen interest in what was going on in my life. I know you are in the midst of a great loss when that second parent dies, but the Lord will see you through. May God bless you with a sense of His presence.

Dear Cindy, The next time I'm in Nashville and drive down Johnson Street, I'll really miss your mom and dad. You and your mom were so kind to me to give me your Flippin-Perrin window curtains when I went off to college, and your dad always had a smile for me when I ran out on the porch to receive the mail. Once when I was very little, I tried to go to town with the Reeder boys and I followed them all the way down the alley and in front of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey's house. But, Jimmy and Reggie were soon long gone and I didn't know what to do but sit down and cry. Your dad recognized me and got me home safely. Whew! Thanks again for being good friends and good Christians. May God give you peace, comfort, and blessings.
