Obituary:
Lorena Lewis Boatwright died May 30, 2010 in the Grove Nursing Home in Grove, OK. She was born October 14, 1915 in Polk County. She married James Meggs Boatwright and moved to Nashville at the age of 24.

She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, the EH Club, and Hospital Auxiliary.
She was an LPN nurse and worked at the Howard County Memorial Hospital till she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Martha Lewis, husband James Meggs Boatwright, one son, Jacklin Boatwright, who was killed in 1967 in Vietnam, six sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Monaie Colvin of Grove, OK; two grandsons, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 4 at Restland Memorial Park, with Elder Joe Asbell of Oil City, LA officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

I was very sorry to hear that Grandaunt Lorena had passed, but know that she is with the Lord and has joined her sister Alma, my grandmother, there.
