Dear Kathy, your family, your cousins Terry, Jan and others, Your dear mother will be greatly missed. She was a treasure to all her knew her. I never saw her without a smile. Though you find it hard to give up your mother, she now rests in peace. That peace I wish for you. Brenda Ball Tirrell

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Playing at your house is one of the many fond memories I have of my childhood. Your mother was always so loving and gracious and just a beautiful human being. I live in the Dallas area as well and would love to reconnect with you at some point. Your cousin, Terry, gave me your telephone number and I will try to reach you later in the summer. My prayers are with you and your family. Fondly, Debbie Riggs Puett

KATHY, AS YOU KNOW MOM TOUCHED MANY PEOPLE. MY MOM AND YOUR MOM WERE VERY GOOD FRIENDS.AND I LOOKED UP TO YOUR MOM AND LISTEN TO WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY ABOUT A PROBLEM I MAY HAVE HAD . SHE TAUGHT ME MANY THING ABOUT WHAT THE BIBLE REALLY WAS ALL ABOUT. SHE WAS TRULY A SOUTHERN BELL. HOPE YOU ALL DOING OKAY. AND KATHY IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW OLD YOU ARE ,BUT WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR PARENTS YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, YOU FEEL LIKE AN ORPHAN. THAT WILL BE NORMAL. BUT THEY ARE NOT GONE.TAKE WHAT THEY TAUGHT US AND CARRY IT ON. MY BROTHERS AND SISTER ARE THINKING OF YOU TOO. AND EVERYONE ELSE. THINKING OF YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE . RENEE IN MO.

I grew up in Orrick, MO where Tula was a vibrant part of our little church - Orrick Baptist Church. As a little girl, I looked up to Kathy Ball who was in High School at the time and I think she invited me to her Orrick wedding which I relished. I graduated and left Orrick about 1982 for larger horizons and world travels - currently residing in Kansas City. But Tula and her genuine Christian ways and beautiful smile left a mark on the entire town of Orrick - from her Sunday School teaching, newspaper articles for 16 years to the books she wrote that were always on a shelf in our house....I wish I had them now! My sympathy goes to Tula's family and friends. She was a great lady to all.

Dear Kathy, A wonderful lady has arrived in Heaven to meet her Lord! Tula was truly an encouraging Christian and a sparkling example for all of us to follow. I will miss her smile. I'm praying for God's comfort and peace to surround you. --Marsha (Tolleson) and Allen Rhodes, Las Cruces, NM
