Obituary:
Betty Marie Featherston, 71, of Murfreesboro, AR., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at an Arkadelphia nursing home. She was born April 1, 1939 the daughter of Repherd and Lila Harrison Hallmark.

Mrs. Featherston was an abstracter and a member of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lee Featherston, her father Repherd Hallmark, and a brother Ray Hallmark.

Survivors include her mother Lila Hallmark of Nashville, AR; three sons Richard Featherston and wife Kathy of Beebe, AR; Roger Featherston and wife Karen of Murfreesboro, AR; and Rodney Featherston and wife Heather of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren Eric and Kelly Featherston of Denton, TX; Aubrey Featherston of Fayetteville, AR; Anna and Si Hornbeck of Murfreesboro, AR; Andrea and Marc McRae of Murfreesboro, AR; Allie Featherston of Murfreesboro, AR; and Ty Featherston of Fort Worth, TX. Two great-grandsons Ethan Hornbeck, and Adam Hensley. And a number of other family members as well as a group of very special friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Lee Walker and Rob Evans officiating, with burial to follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday July 2, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Memorials may be made to the Murfreesboro Senior Citizens Center or the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

I was sadden to hear the news about Ms Betty passing from this life. She was an extrodinary, and exceptionly sweet, kind lady. I know you will all miss her, and so will the community of Murfreesboro.
