(February 09, 1919 to July 20, 2009 ) Resident of Delight, Arkansas Visitation Information: Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, at First Baptist Church, Delight, with Bro. Vernon Wood officiating, burial in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 21, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delight Ambulance Service. Obituary: Doy Woodall, 90, of Delight, AR, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at a Murfreesboro Nursing home. He was born February 9, 1919, at Kirby, AR, the son of the late Edward and Lillie Adams Woodall. He was a Baptist. He was a WWII Veteran, cattleman, farmer and Mason. Mr. Woodall was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Marshall Woodall; three brothers, Wayne Woodall, Elton (Doc) Woodall and Harlan Woodall; two sisters, Katie Whisenhunt and Ruby Pasley Carter. He is survived by one sons, Randy Woodall and wife, Nona, of Delight, AR; two grandsons, Grant Woodall of Arkadelphia, AR and Zane Woodall and wife, Whitney, of Murfreesboro, AR one sister, Lois Hobson of Springdale, AR; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends. |
