Mike Espinedo - April 8, 2011
Todd will be in my prayers always. My best memories of Todd are of him as the quiet, little skinny boy with the mischevious grin. He will be missed.

Always remember the good times with Todd, his little grin that he always seemed to have, his love for others and his friendship. RIP
Carol Williams - April 8, 2011
Virginia, even though I didn't know Todd I know he must have been a wonderful person to have a mother like you. We don't know why these things happen but one day we will. We have that promise. I hope and pray that God will comfort you and your family during this difficult time. Love & prayers, Carol
Bettye McLaurin - April 9, 2011
Virginia, Jake, Arnie, Gary, William and the Linzy family: No words or imagination can possibly compare to what you each are feeling. As a mother I know the agony I would feel losing my son well before me, but it's the tiniest fraction of Virginia's despair. The "brothers 4" are now 3, left with childhood memories of summer days never to anticipate a spring reunion. Children now expected to outlive their father but never truly outgrowing a child's desire to reconnect. Yes, this is unfair and most of all to Todd, for he had promise and hope before him. I'm sorry to have met my second cousin so late in our lives, just within the past 6 months, but it established the beginning of a friendship. With fondness I remember his humor and quiet ways, his pleased expression when I stated I would like to spend some time with him. It was a shy but eager smile and my brief glimpse into a longing soul. I'm certain he wished for second chances at life as we all do and should. I'm sorry he didn't get to take them; in turn he has left us with this lesson to make the most of our own opportunities. Thank you, Virginia, for your gift of his life, and thanks, Todd, for reminding us to live it. B.
