I am very sad to hear of Mr. Bowen's death. I have never met him but I have known one of his daughters, Melanie Belt, for a long time. She is exceptional and I know he was a man of good character. He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to Melanie and her family in this time of sorrow. He is in heaven now.

Dear family, I am sadden to realize that I will not see Uncle Dick on this earth again. For me he was a shining star, a smiling face and a unexpected backward kick in the pants! I loved him dearly. I know the heavens opened with excitement as they welcomed him home. Peace be with you Uncle Dick and prayers for comfort to all of us left behind.

Dick was such a great person to be around. He enjoyed life. My son & daughter had a water hose fight with him once at my mom & dad's (Travis & Annie Mae Harris), when he was delivering butane. They had special memories of this. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
