This Memorial Could Not Be Found

I am so sorry that Effie has gone. I had prepared her a Christmas Card to have mailed Monday. She won't need it now. I enjoyed my visits with her so much when she lived at Bella Vista! She and my Mother Jewell Tollett were the best of friends!

My thoughts and prayers are with all the Jones family in the loss of this precious woman. She was such a sweetheart and always so kind. She loved her family and they loved her.

So many good memories of my childhood days living on the same block. Your dad took me on my first fishing trip & your mom always made me "one of her kids". Mrs. Jones will be greatly missed but it will be heaven's gain. She was so close to your dad just know they are laughing, talking & rejoicing together. Thanks for being such a good friend to me & my family. She still had that sweet smile the last time I saw her in Bella Vista.

Mrs. Jones hired me in Nashville back in 1976. I worked for her a couple of years and thru my work for her I met the man who became my husband. Mrs. Jones knew Albert well. He worked in another county office. She was happy for us and glad we dated. In fact, Albert and I went to Immanuel to a revival service and later to the Sonic our first date and there were Mr. Darwin and Mrs. Jones at the Nashville Sonic also enjoying a Friday night date. They were a special couple! Some months later she and Mr. Jones attended our wedding. She was always friendly and kind, and yes, always liked to help people. She was a fine Christian lady! She loved the Lord and she lived for Him helping all she could. She certainly helped me!!! Please accept my sincere and deepest sympathy. Mrs. Jones will always be VERY SPECIAL to Albert and me. I really enjoyed working for her. I will be praying for all of you, Pam Bissell Marlar

With prayers in our hearts for all who mourn Effie's passing, we will celebrate her life, her service, and faith. We know that she is now in the arms of our loving God, forever in peace.

If I had only read my Nashville News early - I was so saddened to read the obituary of "Miss Effie". I have so many childhood memories of her and the entire Jones family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
