Pat, Just read the sad news about Lamar. Bobbie Jo and I would like to send our heartfelt condolences. I alway enjoyed visiting with Coach at Bobbie's class and the Thornton reunions. He and I always caught up on old times and had much in common.

Pat, We were so sorry to hear that Lamar had passed away. He was always such a joy to have at the reunions. He touched so many lives and will not be forgotten. May God give you peace and comfort knowing that he is no longer in pain. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ray and Eunice

Growing up around old time coaches like Mr. Reece was awe inspiring. A mans man. They don't make them like him anymore. I have great and fond memories and consider myself fortunate to have known him. Thinking of you Mrs. Reece.
