My thoughts and prayers to you Barbara, Brandy, Wanda and Shirley. Jerry and your family have always been special to me and you all always brightened my day immediately upon seeing you in town. Jerry had Bud's smile and always warmed me inside simply catching up on old times. I have very very fond memories that I will hold on to forever. Thank you Jerry for your kindness and extreme genuiness.
See you on the other side Jerry and can't wait to hear what I have been missing out on!
Whitney Peterson - January 19, 2012
I don't remember a time that I didn't see Jerry with a smile on his face and laughing. I know he will be missed much.
May God comfort you during this time.

So sorry for your loss. I am sorry that I have not been around to visit and try to help comfort you but I am recovering from the shingles. Darrell just lost one of his younger brothers, Dennis and he was Jerry's age. It was the trip to Indiana mixed with stress that they think caused the onset of the shingles. Praying that God will comfort each of you as only He can. He will not leave us comfortless. We know that this isn't the end. We will see him again. Then we take up where we left of several years ago as we sat at the restaurant on many occasions at noon and he visited with us. The only blessed difference is that he will not be suffering anymore. He was a wonderful person and is going to be greatly missed. Just think of the reunion he had when he reached heaven and saw his dad, Billy, Mutt and many others that have gone on before him. But I am sure the first person he rejoiced meeting was His Lord and Savior. My prayers are with you.

Barbara, Brandi, Shirley, and Ms. Wanda,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Barbara, I have walked the valley you now walk. It is a horrible place. But you, like me, have the comfort of knowing that Jerry is now with our Lord and enjoying being in His presence. I hope to see you tonight. But if I don't, please know that you and the whole family are very much in my thoughts. God bless you.
Jennifer Milton - January 20, 2012
Once and awhile, you find special treasures along the road of life. Your family has been one of the most special and precious gifts. I hope you find some peace and comfort in the coming days. You will all be in my prayers.

Shirley, Barbara, Wanda and family. Sweet Jerry, just like my Wayne always had a smile on his face, enjoying life as it was dealt to him. Making everyone around him smile. He just lit up every room he walked in. Wayne loved him so much. He was special. Always talking about working at the Corps. And always had a good joke to tell. And made a friend everywhere he went. My Wayne has his good friend to talk to. They both have gone to be with our Lord. To join Bud and all the others we love and miss so much. That we also will join one day. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
