Barbara Sue (Stone) MacIntosh

Barbara Sue (Stone) MacIntosh, age 67, passed away from this life on Monday, October 27, 2014 in Ft. Worth, TX. Barbara was born on November 22, 1946 in Nathan, AR. She graduated from Ball State University in 1968. After teaching for more than 25 years, she retired from the Fort Worth Independent School District. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ in Ft. Worth, TX Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend to all. She was a woman with such a generous, caring, compassionate spirit, who touched the lives of all that knew her, whether it was through her students, family, friends, or her church. She was always there to help. In addition to her father, Roy Stone, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Samuel Woods. She is survived by her two children, Jay MacIntosh and girlfriend, Jackie Sestak of Chicago, Il; and Mitsi Neel and husband, Eric of Corinth, TX; her grandson, Chase Neel of Corinth, TX; mother, Mary Jo Woods of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Teri Fowler and husband, Dennis of Texarkana, AR, and Peggy Johnson and husband, Mike of Murfreesboro; and 8 nieces and nephews with 2 on the way. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Brother Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial to follow in Biggs Chapel at Nathan, AR under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
