Eugene Banes, 78, of Nashville passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 in Nashville. He was born on January 18, 1938 in Oroville, CA the son of the late Budha Banes and Clara Rockefellow. He was born in Oroville and was a farmer until he retired and moved to Nashville, AR with his wife, Joyce in October 1999. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and trucks and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Nashville; three sons, Michael Banes and wife, Kim of Yuba City, CA, Matthew Banes of Woodland, CA, and Michael Helton and wife, Deborah of High Springs, FL; one daughter, Donna Jones and husband, Carl of Nashville; five grandchildren, Natalie Banes of Roseville, CA, Joshua and Colton Cason of Nashville, and Emily and Storey Helton of High Springs, CA; 3 brothers; and two sisters.
