Fauntine Ann Shannon, 90, of Dallas, TX passed away on August 7, 2015 in a Dallas Texas Hospital. Fauntine (Tina) was born on October 29, 1924 in Hartford City, Indiana to William and Bessie Elliott. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shannon; son, Edward Shannon; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Tina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Taylor and Scott; grandson, Steven and wife, Jessica and granddaughter, Shannon and husband, Brent. Tina had 6 great-grandchildren, whom she loved and adored, Erin, Amber, Jamie, Nathan, Michael, and Benjamin. Also to survive is one sister and brother-in-law, Peg and Gene Kitson, sister-in-law, Betty Elliott, Sisters-in-law, Bonnie Breithauph and husband, Charles, Jimmie Bradshaw and husband, Homer. Numerous nieces, nephews and very dear friends also cherish her memory. Tina loved caring and cooking for her family and friends. She loved to grow beautiful roses and now we know she lives "Where the Roses Never Fade". Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM at County Line Cemetery in Nashville, Arkansas with Dewayne Parrish officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home Nashville.
