Josephine (Worthey) Askew, 86, of McCaskill, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Nashville. She was born on December 18, 1927 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of the late Enoch Worthey and Mertie Sutton Worthey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Thomas and husband, Lee of McCaskill, and Janie Jackson and husband, Jerry of Murfreesboro; two grandsons, John Coleman and wife, Bobbie of Prescott, Jimmy Coleman and wife, Nichole of Arlington, OH; three great-grandchildren, Torri Rodriguez of Louisville, KY, Jesse Coleman of Arlington, OH, and Jordan Coleman of Richmond, IN; two sisters, Dink Cowell of Hope, and Elizabeth Harden and husband, Buddy of Deann, AR, and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 13, 2014 at Harris Cemetery in McCaskill, with Randy Hughes and John Ross officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
