Margarete Emily Martin

Margarete Emily Westfall Martin, 96, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Texarkana, Tx. She was born on June 27, 1919 in Roy Community to the late Jordan Ross Westfall and Nellie Olivia (Stuart) Westfall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen M. Martin; one son, Charles Edward Martin; one grandson, Gilbert Ryan Martin; one brother, Lee Roy Westfall; and 3 sisters, Geneva Wisdom, Maggie L. Strawn, and Rema Jo Gregory. Survivors include: 3 grandsons, Steven Edward Martin, Don Kevin Martin and Keith David Fletcher; 1 granddaughter, Octavia Michelle Lea; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro with Brother Troy Carroll and Don Martin officiating. Burial to follow at Ozan Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
