Mary Regnier, 93, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 in Murfreesboro. She was born on November 14, 1922 in El Dorado, AR, the daughter of the late Dan Bagwell and Dora (Moran) Bagwell. Mary loved to read and was a wonderful cook. She always shared her wonderful cakes and cookies with her friends and neighbors at the Murfreesboro apartment complex. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Cummings and her second husband, Gene Regnier; two brothers, E.J. Bagwell and Bill Bagwell; and one sister, Zelona Bagwell Finney. She is survived by her brother, Jesse Bagwell of Murfreesboro; two sister-in-laws, Mary Bagwell of Nashville, and Elenor Regnier Wake of Geneva, IL; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 18, 2016 in Murfreesboro Cemetery in Murfreesboro with Brother Troy Carroll officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 AM to service time at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Murfreesboro Library.
