Sandra Carol Spaulding

Sandra Carol Spaulding (better known as Nana), went to be with our Lord, April 1, 2014. Born August 18, 1940, her 73 years were filled with wonderful adventures and a loving family. She was married to the love of her life, her husband and partner in all things, Harold C. Spaulding (Bud) for over 51 years. She sold everything she owned and flew for the first time to Spain to marry him and the adventures never stopped. She is survived by her husband; oldest daughter, Lorena Motley and her husband, Tim Motley, middle daughter, Alicia Spaulding, and youngest daughter, Selena Spaulding and her partner, Tom Dunlop. Her legacy will continue for generations by her grandchildren, Justin Motley and wife Katie, Cody Motley and wife, Kendra, Matthew Motley, ShaiAnne Motley, JC Motley, Brittany Kaylor and her partner, Austin Dunlop, and Nick Kaylor and his partner, Jalene Svoboda. Her blessings continue with her great-grandson, Chase by Brittany and Austin, along with the soon to be sweet babygirl by Justin and Katie. She is also survived by all her "bonus" children in the community who just loved knowing she was there to cheer them on at any event she could attend. Her love and guidance is in everything we do. Her strength of faith and spirit will keep us all strong in the days to come. Our parents tradition of all sitting down to a meal, saying grace, and "hashing out" our days and keep the family connected. We will all strive to honor that tradition, in her name. We are all proud to have called her wife, mom, Nana, and friend. Graveside services will be on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Brother Tommy Mounts officiating in Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
