Wendell A. Sullivan, 97 year-old resident of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Del City, Oklahoma. Born August 18, 1918 in Nashville, AR, he was the son of Alfred G. Sullivan and Alda Yates Sullivan. Wendell was a master electrician and a member of the Electrician's Union. He was a natural born talker; loved his union and the Democratic Party and politics. He started his working life as a medic with the Civil Conservation Corp. and had worked as a medic at the Jefferson Davis Hospital in Houston, TX before becoming an electrician. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Olga Mae Sullivan; 1 daughter Shyla Byers; 2 sisters, O'Dean Yates; and Etta Curry. Survivors include 2 sons, Wendell D. Sullivan and his wife Judy of Goshen, Indiana; and Errol W. Sullivan of Mobile, Alabama; 1 daughter, Donna and her husband Jerry McCroskey of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Wendell will lie in state at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8-8 on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, 115 E. Hempstead, Nashville, AR 71852 with burial following at Mt.
