Ester Marie Scoggin

Ester Marie Pennington Scoggin, age 69 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 peacefully at her son's home in Murfreesboro, AR after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born December 17, 1949 in Clarendon, AR to the late Herbert and Etha Mae Shaw Pennington. Ms. Scoggin was a long-time member of the first Baptist church in Murfreesboro. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Sue Jackson Lemons, three brothers, her twin Lester (Sharon) Pennington of Dierks, Burnie Pennington of Nathan, Bill (Gloria) Pennington of Murfreesboro, a half-sister, Tursie (Harold) Hipp of Hope, AR, a sister in law, Peggy Pennington and step Grandson, Ryan Allen. Survivors include, her son, Gary (Cathy) Wolfe of Murfreesboro; brother, Joe Pennington of Murfreesboro; half-sister, Lottie (Phil) Taylor of Chico, CA and a sister in law, Phyllis Pennington of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Jade Wolfe (Craig), Kari Crow, Nick (Brittany) Lemons, Step Grandchild, Kimber (Justin) Reed; four great grandchildren; 4 step great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Latimer funeral Home in Murfreesboro, AR.
