Velda Holt

Velda Holt, age 67 of Murfreesboro, AR passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 in her home. Velda was born May 26, 1951 to the late Ruby Mae Howard and Lavell Keys. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Holt; her brother Jimmy Keys and her parents. Ms. Holt was known as a nurse. She devoted her life to the medical field working as a RN. She was employed by Pike County Memorial hospital for more than 36 years and worked home health for 8 years. Survivors include, her two daughters; Crystal Funderburg and husband Jon of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Beth Anderson and husband Ricky of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; one brother, Roger Keys of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; one grandchild, Aubrey Funderburg and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, October 22, 2018 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Harvest Time Assembly church with Jon Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
