Billie Sumler

Billie Sumler, 75, of Nashville, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, at a Liitle Rock hospital. He was born August 24, 1935, at Vilonia, AR, the son of the late William Elbert and Ruby Caroline Markham Sumler. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an employee of the Nashville City Park. Mr. Sumler was preceded in death by one brother, William H. Sumler. He is survived by two sons, Edward Sumler of Nashville, AR and Elbert Dwayne Sumler of Nashville, AR; three daughters, Carolyn Ann Smith of Climax, North Carolina, Marilyn Delaney of Little Rock, AR and Phyllis Jody Willbanks of Nashville, AR; one brother, John Wayne Sumler of Bauxite, AR; one cousin, Belinda Chandler of Nashville, AR; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 7, at Restland Memorial Park, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
