Billy Dean Funderburk

Billy Dean Funderburk, age 86 of Delight, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 11, 1937 in Nathan to the late Bluitt Funderburk and Lola Jean Murphy Funderburk.

Billy was a member of the Antoine church of Christ. He worked as a logger for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dennie Bell Funderburk, daughter Denise Funderburk Wallace, a granddaughter Jessica Funderburk and two sisters Nellie Kendall and Dorothy Garrett.

Survivors include two sons Stan Funderburk and Greg Funderburk; one daughter Lisa Funderburk Gatliff; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a lifelong special friend Frankie Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Antoine Cemetery in Antoine, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
