Billy G. Kuykendall, Jr., 36, of Nashville, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009. He was born October 10, 1972 at Nashville, AR, the son of Billy Kuykendall, Sr. and Nancy Brock Watts. He was a Baptist and a Mason. He was a truck driver for McConnel Trucking Company. He was a former Mineral Springs Police Chief. He had been employed by the Nashville Police Department, Nashville Sheriffs Office K-9 Unit, and the Dierks Police Department. He was former owner of his own logging company. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Roy Brock and Sonny Kuykendall. He is survived by one son, Colt Kuykendall of Dierks, AR; two daughters, Sophie Kuykendall of Nashville, AR and Sadie Kuykendall of Nashville, AR; his father, Billy Kuykendall Sr. of Nashville, AR; his mother, Nancy Watts of Delight, AR; two sisters, Christy White of McCaskill, AR and Tandie Ray of Nashville, AR; one step brother Brandon Watts of Murfreesboro, AR; one step sister, Lacy Watts of Delight, AR; maternal Grandmother, Joy Brock of Murfreesboro, AR and paternal Grandmother, Billie Jean Young of Daisy, AR; and a host of family and friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 27, at Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville, with Bro. Bruce Short officiating, burial in Delight Cemetery, under the -direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
