Binh Nguyen

Binh Nguyen, age 79 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born on February 26, 1946, in Cam Lam, Vietnam, Binh lived a life marked by courage and generosity. He served in the South Vietnam Navy during the Vietnam War, fighting alongside the United States in defense of freedom and his homeland. Following the war, Binh immigrated to the United States and became an American citizen in 1994. Alongside his beloved wife, Binh sponsored many Vietnamese families seeking a new beginning, helping them find their footing and build lives of stability and opportunity in their new country. Binh worked diligently for many years at Weyerhaeuser and later at the Briar Gypsum Plant until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dieu Nguyen and Soi Thi Le.

Binh is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kham Nguyen; three sons, Michael Nguyen of Conway, AR; Floy Nguyen and wife Tabetha of Nashville, AR; Vilavanh Nguyen of Sacramento, CA; one daughter, Sourikhan Nguyen of Nashville, AR; and five beloved grandchildren: Blake Dean, Drake Nguyen, Ranger Nguyen, Oliver Nguyen, and Keylee Hallmark. He is also remembered by a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Latimer Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
