Cathy Lyn Jacobs

Cathy Lyn Jacobs, 54, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born October 28, 1971, in Baytown, Texas the daughter of the late Rodney and Verna Cole Crochet.

Cathy loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing. But more importantly to her she loved being a Nana to her grandkids and they were the last thing that brought her joy in this world.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Jorden Myrick.

Survivors include two daughters Misty Newton (Justin), Shelby Myrick (Charles), one son Arron Lewis (Stormie), one brother James Crochet, one sister Shena Powell, and her grandchildren Dylan Newton, Skylar Vandevender, Molleigh Vandevender, Abbygail Vandevender, Maecee Myrick, Jaecee Myrick, Charles Myrick II, Eric Banks, Charlesea Myrick and Jo’Lee Banks.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Bluff Springs Community Church with Paul Nuttall officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
