Clifton "Nim" Thomas Harris

Clifton Thomas “Nim” Harris, age 79 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Nashville. He was born on March 18, 1946 in the Mt. Moriah Community to the late Watson Harris and Dora Marie Ponder Harris.

Mr. Harris was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his doll, Larrie. He loved spending time with his family and especially riding his grandchildren around on his Kubota and enjoying watermelon with them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson: Mitchell Thomas Collins, and three siblings: Billy Wayne Harris, Freddy Alan Harris and Eva Jane Vaught.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years, Larrie Bell Lingo Harris; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Watson Harris and Kristie; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim Collins and Dennis; grandchildren, Zachary Collins, Laramie (Austin) Littles, Laci Harris (Parker Little), Aspen Harris (Dylan Turner), Blake Mitchell and Alex Harris; great-grandchildren, Avery Willis, Ares Collins, Luke Littles, Alena Collins, Layne Little, Watson Little, Walker Turner, and Tillie Little; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Latimer Funeral Home in Mufreesboro.

Funeral services for Mr. Harris will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro. Interment will follow in College Hill Cemetery.
