Obituary

Colton Teddy Bailey, age 20, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2026 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born February 25, 2005 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Colton was a 2023 graduate of Murfreesboro High School and a member of many Rattler athletic teams where he excelled in baseball. As a pitcher for the Rattlers, he struck out many opposing batters with his fabulous “side-arm” pitch. Several colleges pursued Colton with scholarship offers to play on their baseball team, but he chose to join the workforce instead.

Colton was employed as a welder at New Millennium Building Systems in Hope, Arkansas. Colton was an avid outdoorsman spending his free time riding four-wheelers, duck hunting, and never missed a good bonfire. Colton also spent many childhood moments riding horses and “slinging that rope” with his PawPaw J.R. and other family members.

On June 25, 2021, Colton was baptized along with his PawPaw J.R. in the Little Missouri River at the Bowen Access with Leon McKinnon officiating; a memory Colton always held dear. Friends were always a top priority in Colton’s life including Landry Cathcart, his special friend. He was always ready to hang out or lend a helping hand to a friend in need. But,

Colton’s favorite person in the world was his precious nephew and sidekick, Quigley. You can bet Colton would always have a story about Quigley to tell at any given time. Colton will be remembered for always lighting up a room when he walked in with his beautiful smile and outgoing personality. Though the light here has dimmed in all of our lives, Colten’s memory will always brighten our hearts.

The final act of kindness that Colton was able to provide was the gift of life through organ donation. What an honor he is leaving behind so that others may have more time with their loved ones.

Colton was preceded in death by his brother Kirkline Nolen, his dad Billy Bailey, grandfather Junior Nolen, his Meme Virginia Bailey and a step brother Curtis Boone

Survivors include his mother LaDonna Boone and husband James; father Ruben Garza; his sister Ashline Harr; nephew Quigley Harr, step sister Haley Boone, and special friend Landry Cathcart.
