Conrad J. Cox, age 82 of Nathan passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 in Little Rock. He was a graduate of Delight High School, class of 1963. He was born to E.C. (Shorty) and Bessie York Cox on March 24, 1943. He was devoted to the Lord and a faithful member of Nathan Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Harsh, brothers, Charles (Charlie) Cox, Monty Cox and Jimmy Cox.
Conrad is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva Jones Cox, two sons, Clint (Regina) of Murfreesboro, Ar.; Trent (Laura) Cox of Murfreesboro, Ar.; grandchildren, Allyson Cox Whitaker (Cody), Gavin Cox (fiancé, Shannon Rowan), Dani Oakes (Rick), Carley Cox; Great-grandchildren, Riley, River and Rowan Oakes.
Conrad is also survived by three brothers, Ronnie (Susan) Cox of Delight, Ar., Ricky (Wanda) Cox of Nashville, Ar., Tony (Missy) Cox of Murfreesboro, Ar.; sister, Kim Dixon (Paul Smith) of Pike City, Ar., sisters-in-law, Lorenda Cox of Pike City, Ar., Becky Avery of Delight, Ar., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His love of the outdoors led him to fifty plus years in forestry management with Murfreesboro Lumber Company, Weyerhaeuser, Porter Lumber Company, and he retired from Bean Lumber Company after almost twenty-eight years of employment.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in the Latimer Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Academy Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
