David Ray Hedrick

David Ray (Dave) Hedrick, age 68 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away at his home September 14, 2023, surrounded by his wife and daughter.  He was born in Bluffton, Indiana on January 31, 1955.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorothy Elzey Hedrick, his grandparents, Verdo and Madie Hedrick of Nashville, AR and Jess and Ethel Elzey of Bluffton, Indiana.

Dave leaves behind his wife, Tess Aguirre Hedrick, children, Shepherd Hedrick, Lisa Magee of Nashville, Jet Manuel, two grandsons, Jacob and Landon Magee, one brother James (Jim) Hedrick and sister in law Marion, his best friends, Michael, Jimmy Don, Wayne, and Jeff, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dogs (Pete, Gladys, Myrtle, Jess, Max, and Yodi.

Dave moved from Indiana to Arkansas while in his 20’s and settled just up the road from his grandparents.  He worked at several places, most notably Case Shear Plant and then spent 16 years at Briar Plant as fork lift driver, before retiring from Pilgrim’s Hatchery.

Dave loved his family, old cars, music, his pets, and really enjoyed collecting, shooting, and trading guns.  In his younger years he also loved to ride his Harley.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, September 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, at Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
