Ernest "Gene" Dunn Jr. age 74 of Texarkana, Texas died on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. He was born on July 23, 1944 the son of the late Ernest Dunn Sr. and Fannie Jo Woodruff. He played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 1962, 1963, and 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Dunn Sr and Fannie JoWoodruff. As well as a sister Diane Dunn. Survivors include two daughters Elizabeth Gilley of Texarkana, AR; DeDe Dunn Samuel of Garland, TX; one son Ernest Eugene Dunn III of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren Josh Tucker, Janie Gilley, Anneliese Hounsel, Thomas Hounsel, Evan Gafford, Malaya Samuel, Kalyn Samuel, Darby Dunn, and one great grandchild Audrey Gilley. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 2, at Nashville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 2 from 12:00 until 1:30 P.M., at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
