La señora Berruquin era ama de casa y miembro de la iglesia católica de San Martín en Nashville.

Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Lucio Berruquín, un hijo llamado Carlos Berruquín y una hija llamada Maricruz Berruquín.

Felipa Berruquin, 82, of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on February 7, 1944, in Iguala, Mexico, the daughter of the late Federico Escobar and Purificación Lagunas.

Mrs. Berruquin was a homemaker and a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Nashville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lucio Berruquín, a son named Carlos Berruquín and a daughter named Maricruz Berruquín.

Among the survivors are her, four children: Armando Berruquín, Fidel Berruquín, Silvestre Berruquín and Ismael Berruquín; four daughters: Reina Alcántara, Olga Betancourt, Lorena Bretado and Irais Berruquín. Thirty-nine grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

The family will host friends at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, May 15, from 11:00 a.m., to 8:00 p.m.,

Mass will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church in Nashville, and burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
