Gary Don Epton

Gary Don Epton, age 62, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.  He was born May 24, 1960 in Dallas, Texas the son of Shirley Harper Anthony and the late Charles Epton.

Mr. Epton was a member of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and a loving caretaker for his mother.  He was a well known member of the community and was loved everywhere he went.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister Karen Elmore and nephew Ron Elmore Jr.

Survivors include his mother Shirley Anthony of Murfreesboro, AR; sisters Betty Middleton of Madisonville, KY, Jamie Mixon of Dallas, TX, and Pamela Dutra of Hayward, CA; nieces and nephews Shawn Culpepper, Todd Elmore, Jennifer Lee, Amber Henderson, Julie White, Sarah Mixon, Katie Mixon, and Justin Dutra; step siblings Leslie and Russell Peterson both of Dallas, TX; as well a number of friends and extended family.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Bruce Short officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
