Gary Hodge Martindale

Gary Hodge “Buddy” Martindale, age 83 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 in Little Rock. He was born on May 28, 1943 in Bingen to the late James Hicks Martindale and Mable Hodge Martindale.

He was a member of the Bingen United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Majorie Martindale.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Mike (Hissel) Martindale, Misty Smith, Jon (Dana) Humphries, Jacque (Bruce) Clemons and Jamie Honeycutt; his sister, Linda Sue Park; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Gregory, Shannon, Kyle, Pace, Codi, Sally, Joshua, Keytlyn, April and Dakota; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
