Gloria Cooper

Gloria Cooper, 84 of McCaskill, AR, died, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at her home. She was born May 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Roscoe Charles (Mont) and Lilly Maud (Rowland) Wardlaw. She was a housewife and member of Ball's Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Ray Wardlaw, three sisters, Obera McBrayer, Irene Waddell, and Charlene Chumley. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Samuel Cooper of the home, two sons, Stephen Cooper and wife, Barbara of Splendora, TX and Jimmy Cooper and wife, Pam of Dayton , TX; two daughters, Kathy Hoosier and husband, Marion of McCaskill, AR and Kellie Swonke and husband, Jeremy of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of friends. Services were 11:00 AM Friday, May 21, at Ball Chapel Church of Christ with John Ross officiating, burial followed in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
