James D. White, 73, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, October 9, 2023 in Nashville, Arkansas. He was born on April 25, 1950 in Brown City, Michigan the son of the late Calvin and Ethel Crake White.
James attended the University of Mexico UNAM, the London School of Economics, in the 1960’s he worked with Lord Selkirk to help de-empire Great Britain. During this time he missed the lottery for Vietnam when they didn’t call his number so he continued his education as an undergraduate at the Michigan State University and then completed in doctoral studies at the University of Michigan.
Jim was a selfless, humble person who truly enjoyed helping others. He was of the episcopal faith.
Survivors include Tim Morse of Nashville, AR; Charlotte Villa of Nashville, AR; Bob, Nancy, and Patricia White all of Bloomfield Hills, MI; as well as his beloved cats Hootie, Squiggy, and Princess.
