Jimmy Dale Flaherty, age 90 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Murfreesboro. He was born on May 23, 1931 in Pike County to the late Willie Hershel and Hazel Pearl Strawn Flaherty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bobby Joe Flaherty and one sister LaWanda Echols.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bruenel Simmons Flaherty; sons: Bill Flaherty and wife Wilma and Dwayne Flaherty; daughters: Betty Cawthon and husband Gary, Anita Rogers and husband Roy, and Alecia Flaherty and Penny; grandsons: William Flaherty, Chris Conatser and wife Emily, Daron Rogers and wife Brittany,; granddaughter Stefanie Conatser; great-grandchildren: Devin Wilkerson, Zayne Flaherty, Nathan and Kristen Rogers, Courtney Cook and husband Jerred, Micah, Wyatt and Jonah Conatser; great-great grandchildren: Ireland and Jaiger Cook and Emerson Wilkerson; sister-in-law Janie Wright and husband Joe, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at College Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
