Opal Louise Lemons, 83 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born June 4, 1943, in New Hope, Arkansas the daughter of the late Foster and Bonnie Crouch Sharp.
Mrs. Lemons was a homemaker and a dietician for Colonial Nursing Home and Howard Memorial Hospital for many years. She loved cooking, canning, family and friends but above all her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles for fifty-two years; her brothers Roger, Fred and James Sharp; three sisters Jo Hunt, Margaret Webb and Emma Phillips.
She leaves behind her three children Bec House (Mark), Kim King (Brian) and Jeff Lemons (Heather); three sisters Evelyn Lindsey, Peggy Lacefield and Sue Thompson.
Her seven grandchildren Jennifer, Johnna, Matthew, Breanna, Dillon, Kaylyn and Cason; seventeen great grandchildren Brayden, Bayla, Kristen, Brylie, Bennett, Wyatt, Olivia, Jase, Forrest, Liza, Emeline, Opal, Thomas, Paisley, Kelton, Ava, Alaina and Kenzie; as well as one great-great grandchild Kacen.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville with Bro. Bobby Fischer officiating, a visitation will follow the service.
