Mary Lucille Steuart, age 96 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Hot Springs. She was born on April 12, 1927 to the late Thomas William Smith and Janie Cecil Hoover Smith.
Mrs. Steuart was a member of the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. Her hobbies included quilting, painting, as well as many other arts and crafts. She loved to play cards and dominoes. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Gail Steuart, four siblings, Winfred Smith, Lee Smith, James Carroll Smith and Cloteil Oakley, as well as a great grandson, Joshua Lane Steuart.
Survivors include her four children, Fred Steuart and wife Beth of Murfreesboro, Terry Steuart and wife Carol of Murfreesboro, Kathy Turner and husband Mark of Greenwood and Susan Lowery and husband Stevie of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren Bryan Lowery, Michael Steuart, Amanda Steuart Garner, Lance Steuart, Jarrod Lowery, Aaron Steuart, Adam Steuart, Ben Lowery and Matt Turner; five bonus grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
