Patricia Ann Lingo passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 65. She was the proud owner of Trish’s BBQ for 26 years and worked at Weyerhaeuser for 28 years. Patricia loved her red trucks, enjoyed working in her flower beds, and most of all cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Joe Eldon Lingo Jr.; her brother and sister, Larry McRae, Jimmy (Charlotte) McRae, and Nina Rodgers; her mother-in-law, Doris Lingo; and her sister-in-laws Pam Tollett and Marilyn Strickland.
Patricia’s children include Brad Kesterson, Tara (Benny) Acevedo, Shasta (Sami) Juarez, Meghann (Cornelio) Perez, and Tyler Lingo. She was the proud grandmother of Brandon, Austin, and CJ Jones; Zack and Zoe Kesterson; Eric, Ignacio, Alex, Adrie, and Evy Perez; Zaley Pryor; Hailee Lingo; and Celia, Rialee, and Major Juarez — and great-grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents S.V. and Ettia Bryan, her parents Bill McRae, Fletcher and Lola Montgomery, her father-in-law, Joe Eldon Lingo, Sr. and her great-grandson Luxton Perez.
Patricia is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends — including a very special friend, Vanessa Lewis.
Patricia will be remembered for her hard work, her love for family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
There will be a graveside service to honor Mrs. Lingo at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Center Point Cemetery with Eric Perez officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
