Randy Morris, 66, of Nashville, died March 5, 2010, at a Texarkana hospital. He was born February 4, 1944, in Nashville, AR, the son of Maggie Louis Maroon and the late John Warren Morris. Randy was a JP for the Hempstead Co. district 10 for over thirty years, he served on the Bingen Fire Dept. Board of Directors, a past member of the Howard Co. Cattlemans Board, past owner of Morris Farm and Ranch Supply, Nashville Livestock and Clark County Livestock. He was an avid gardener, a lifetime farmer, and a faithful member of the coffee shop crew. Mr. Morris attended the Bingen Methodist Church, and was a member of the Antioch Bapitst Church. He was preceded in death by his father Warren Morris and step-father Jeff D. Maroon. Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years Nancy Jo Owens Morris of Nashville, AR; his mother Maggie Louis Maroon of Nashville; two sons Todd Morris and wife Casey of Nashville, AR; Rodney Morris and wife Annah of Nashville, AR; five granddaughters, Macy, Avery, Daleigh, Rayne, and Lariat, one sister-in-law Patsy Jean Owens of Nashville. and a host of other family and very special friends. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 8, 2010, at Latimer Funeral Home â�" Nashville, with burial to follow in Ozan Cemetery with Russell Hull and David Blasé officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home â�" Nashville. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Bingen United Methodist Church.
