Rena Gail “Sandy” Parker, age 75 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on June 25, 2026 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born on April 29, 1951 to Lucille and Terry Bryant.
She married her true love, Jerry, on April 18, 1969 with her best friend, Day, by her side.
They traveled working the pipeline with her parents and eventually settled in Murfreesboro on April 1, 1989.
Sandy had a beautiful smile and friendly personality that made finding work easy – she met and went to work for a beautiful couple, Al and Jane Terrell, whom she worked with for many years. She would later leave that job and go to work for Mr. Jack Beavert, whom she thought the world of. She retired from there after a battle with cancer. She loved working in her yard with her plants and flowers and her pup, Sister. Her absolute favorite time was with her family and especially her little flowers and trees.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Parker, her parents, Lucille Strouth and Terry Bryant, her favorite son-in-law, Richard Collins and her precious Aunt Grace Stanley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her baby, Sister; her sons, Jeff Parker and Robert Parker; her daughter, Stacy Collins; her grandchildren Drew Parker (Kassell), Cole Lowery, Kailee Parker, Kort Parker, Ryan Collins (Kyla), Noah Collins (Paige), Gracie Collins and her grandpup - Jennifer Lyn; her great-grandchildren, Lydia Rose Collins, Violet Parker, Willow Parker, Oliver Collins, Lorelei Lowery, Cedar Collins and a very special friend, Sandra Guerra; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Pike City Cemetery with Bro. Brian Doyle officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
