Robert Lynn O'Neal

Robert Lynn O’Neal, age 77 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at his home with family. He was born on March 23, 1949 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Tannie and Ruby Folsom.

Robert was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. He was a devoted husband, Father and Grandfather. He was a retired locomotive engineer for Kansas City Southern Railway for over 30 years.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, Infantry division and fought in the Vietnam War.

He loved being outdoors camping, hunting, fishing or working in the shop.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Wanda O’Neal; two sons, Stuart O’Neal and Jay O’Neal and his wife, Allana; three grandchildren Madison O’Neal, Kane O’Neal and his wife, Emma and Aaron Lott.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro .

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. O’Neal’s memory to The Roy Cemetery Fund, 2306 Hwy 301 S, Murfreesboro, AR 71958.
