Robert David Schwope

Robert Schwope, 81, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Nashville, Arkansas. He was born November 24, 1944, in Boerne, Texas the son of the late Richard Charles and Pauline Schmidt Schwope.

Mr. Schwope attended the Chapel Hill Church of Christ when he was able. His favorite pastime was not spending money, except at garage sales. Robert loved making walking sticks and being active, always piddling with something.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Florence Schwope, one sister Lana Young, two brothers Raymond and Richard Schwope.

Survivors include one son David Schwope and wife Ginny; two daughters Dana Schwope, Erin Baker and husband Brian; four grandchildren Ben Baker, Hope Baker, Lydia Baker and Roland Schwope; one brother Ronnie Schwope and wife Dawanda;

two sisters Crystal Schwope and Diane Reeves and husband Scott.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
