Robin Gail Seavers

Robin Gail Seavers, age 66, of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, surrounded by family and dear friends after a courageous battle with a terminal illness.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Tabler and Bettye Lou Strickland; and her sister, Roxanne Boyd.

She is survived by her son, Josh Stinson and wife Courtney of Nashville; daughter, Hannah Topor and husband Brandon of Nashville; daughter, Lana Thurman of Little Rock; one brother, Russell Tabler; one sister, Angela Ewton; and five beloved grandchildren, Maddie Rodgers, Knox Stinson, Bella Topor, Samuel Stinson, and Nathan Topor. She also leaves behind a special family friend, Patricia Reese, whose friendship and care meant so much to Robin and her family.

Robin spent her career as a registered nurse, caring for others with the same strength and determination she carried throughout her life. She loved Jesus, loved to cook, and above all else, loved her family - especially her grandchildren.

If there was a holiday, Robin was cooking, and there was always far more food than anyone could possibly eat. She lived life fully and kept everyone around her on their toes. You rarely had to wonder what Robin was thinking because, more often than not, she was going to tell you. She loved fiercely, laughed freely, talked about Jesus often, and every now and then, she might have thrown in a cuss word, too.

Even during the hardest days of her illness, Robin’s attention remained on the people she loved. She never stopped talking about her grandchildren or keeping up with their ballgames, activities, accomplishments, and whatever was happening in their lives. Being their grandmother was one of her greatest joys.

Her faith remained at the center of her life. As her health declined, she continued to talk about Jesus and the assurance she found in Him. Her family takes comfort in knowing that the faith she spoke about so often has now become sight.

Robin leaves behind a family who will deeply miss her cooking, her stories, her unfiltered opinions, her laughter, and the unmistakable way she loved them. There will never be another quite like her.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, at First Baptist Church in Nashville with Bro. Kevin Sartin officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
